Plain-language terms for both tracks.
A summary of how returns work per track and tier. Full legal agreements are provided before anything is signed.
Investment Track
- Revenue-share — below $10K
Early stages (Idea, Prototype, First Stats) use a revenue-share. No shares change hands; the fund earns back a share of revenue on agreed terms.
- Equity — $10K and above
First Revenue and Proven Income are equity instruments and require a registered studio, since equity needs a legal entity to hold shares.
Full legal agreement provided per stage before signing.
Publishing / Marketing Track
- In-kind — no return
ASO and Distribution / Cross-Promotion are delivered in-kind (or as cost reimbursement). No revenue-share, though cross-promotion may include a reciprocal commitment.
- Revenue-share — UA / Marketing
UA budget support earns the fund a share of incremental revenue over a fixed term (e.g. 6–12 months).
- Commission — Full Publishing Deal
A full publishing deal carries an ongoing revenue commission, negotiated per deal rather than time-limited.
Full agreement provided for paid tiers before signing.
This page is a plain-language summary and is not itself a contract. Specific terms, amounts, and conditions are set out in the relevant legal agreement for each engagement and prevail over anything summarized here.
